Veterinary Experience
My journey with companion animals began in my Granny’s lounge room, watching her waltz across the floor with her Border Collie, Shep to Christmas records. That childhood memory taught me the true weight of the bond we share and the level of care required to protect it.
That spark became a 27 year vocation. From my first role at Monash Vet Clinic scrubbing into orthopaedic surgergies and reviving newborn puppies, to my years in Practice Management and Clinic Administration, my foundation is rooted in high level clinical care. Whether helping a diabetic cat stay on track with insulin injections while his owner is away for the weekend or providing support for a senior pet with complex needs, I ensure your companion receives the highest level of care in the environment where they feel safest.
Community & Companion Care
While the clinic gave me my skills, I was truly schooled at home through the eyes of my own companion. I adopted a rambunctious Labrador named Barney, an absolute goofball who lived for long off lead beach walks and the occasional jam tart from the local bakery. Over 13 years, Barney’s journey from a boisterous pup to a senior needing extra grace taught me more about the “Golden Years” than any textbook could. I provide the standard of care for your pets that I wanted for my own old boy.
As a Beaconsfield resident of 21 years, my roots in this community run deep. I have raised my family here over the past two decades. You may recognise me from my time at the Beaconsfield Vet Centre and later the Officer Vet, or as the owner of Jo Jo’s Pet Sitting, where I served over 250 local familes. Beaconsfield Pet Care is the evolution of that journey. I combine my veterinary nursing experience with the approach of a calm, caring neighbour who treats your companions like family and your home with the utmost respect.
